INNOVATION IN ACTION
REIMAGINING THE BETTING EXPERIENCE AT THE STADIUM
Last week Genius Sports and the NFL’s Philadelphia Eagles signed a deal to augment the in-stadium betting experience for fans. Genius Sports will deliver real-time betting odds, league-wide scores, and individual player statistics in Lincoln Financial Field’s sports betting lounges. Eagles fans will also receive unique betting offers from the team’s sportsbook partners via QR codes displayed on screens before and during games. We know that Fluid Fans want a complete venue experience and they want to be able to lean in throughout the course of a game. This deal will allow the fans at Lincoln Financial to perform the fan behaviors of Bet, Participate, and Learn. The venue experience is changing and operators who design with these behaviors in mind will open up new revenue streams while increasing current revenue streams.

A NEW ERA OF BASKETBALL
One of our Fan Project Partners, Athletes Unlimited, has announced they are launching their fourth sport with professional women’s basketball in January 2022. The league is set to follow the same outline and model as the organization’s other sports leagues. The league will feature over 44 athletes during the five-week season. Some of those athletes include Natasha Cloud, Sydney Colson, and Ty Young. The rest of the rosters will be mixed with current and former WNBA players, along with a wide variety of other players including international ones.
