ATHLETES USING TECH TO EXPAND THEIR PORTFOLIOS

Recently, investing in new technologies and platforms has become more and more popular with high-profile athletes. Co-founded by Tom Brady, the NFT company Autograph partnered with the media company Lionsgate and betting company DraftKings last week. Autograph's group of founding partners consists of Brady, Naomi Osaka, Derek Jeter, Wayne Gretzky, Tony Hawk, Tiger Woods, and more. The partnership with Lionsgate and DraftKings allows Autograph to create NFTs from the popular Lionsgate franchises like the Hunger Games, Twilight Saga, and Mad Men along with a marketplace that will be launched by DraftKings. This deal is a perfect example of sports and culture coming together through the use of new technologies to provide a community with new digital assets to own.
