INNOVATION IN ACTION
FOSTERING INNOVATION YEAR-ROUND AT THE STADIUM
Monumental Sports & Entertainment (MSE) has teamed up with professional services company KPMG to reimagine the arena suite concept at Capital One Arena with the addition of the new KPMG Ignition Center. KPMG Ignition is a specialized team that seeks to think and work differently to produce differentiated results for the company’s clients. The renovated suite is equipped with the latest technology and will serve as a meeting place for KPMG and its clients to collaborate and solve business problems together, 365 days a year, regardless of the evening game scheduling of the Capitals, Wizards, or live concert or event. Businesses that are able to transform their venue into an innovative space and develop new revenue streams outside the traditional gameday will continue to lead in our industry.

ADDING COACH TO A LEGENDARY RESUME
Canadian women's hockey legend, Marie-Philip Poulin, will now be a part of the Montreal Canadians' front office as a player development consultant. The four-time Olympic Medalist will be in a part-time role as she continues her prolific playing career. Poulin will join the players on the ice and in video sessions to work on their individual and collective skills. She has won 15 medals in international competitions, including three gold medals at the Olympics, where she became the first hockey player to score a goal in four straight finals. The Canadians will look to not only draw upon Poulin's skills on the ice, but also her leadership abilities off it, as she has been captain of Team Canada since 2015 and was also named captain of her collegiate team at Boston University.
