INNOVATION IN ACTION
HISTORIC DAY FOR EQUAL PAY
The U.S. Women’s and Men’s National Soccer Teams have closed the pay gap between the sides with new labor deals announced last week. With the landmark collective bargaining agreements, the United States becomes the first country to achieve equal pay for its men’s and women’s soccer teams, according to the U.S. Soccer Federation. The labor deals will run through 2028. Many have followed the USWNT's push for equal pay, and the long road should be considered a major accomplishment for all the former, current, and future players.
