INNOVATION IN ACTION

DELIVERING EXPERIENCES TO DIGITALLY NATIVE FANS

We often talk about how Fluid Fans are digitally native. Amazon’s latest deal with the premier French football league, Ligue 1, adds to a growing body of evidence that digital platforms are increasingly becoming mainstream for sports fan consumption. The deal gives the internet giant the domestic rights to 80% of Ligue 1 matches for the next three seasons. With the addition of Ligue 1, Amazon expands its sports offerings which already include the English Premier League, Champions League matches, NFL games, WNBA games, and more. Fluid Fans are no longer tied to consuming sports on linear television, and the streaming services like Amazon are moving fast to pick up media rights all across the sports landscape.
