Where In The World Are Angela And Isaiah?
Its a busy week for the Managing Directors at the Sports Innovation Lab. At 10am PST, Isaiah Kacyvenski will be at Amazon Headquarters in Seattle, WA moderating a panel at the Smart Play Partners event. The panel will discuss how to bridge the gap between sports entrepreneurship and the startup ecosystem. Kacyvenski will be joined by Scott Jacobson, Managing Director and Madrona Ventures, Todd Lutwak, Partner at Andreessen Horowitz, Mark Valdez, Principal at Playground Global, and Rouz Jazayeri, Partner at Kleiner Perkins. Managing Directors Isaiah Kacyvenski and Angela Ruggiero will be jumping to the other coast this week to lead a panel at CES: Innovate! + Celebrate. The two will take the stage to drive a discussion about how technology is changing sports from the way athletes train, to the in stadium experience, to the way we watch and more. Joining Angela and Isaiah on the panel will be Portia Blunt, Sr. Digital Sport & Wearables Innovation Manager at New Balance, Brano Perkovich, Chief Investment Officer with the San Francisco 49ers and Mounir Zok, Director of Technology & Innovation at the US Olympic Committee.
