Meet The Future of Women’s Sports Content
The Fan Project report unlocked a new Community-Based Monetization Model for women’s sports. At its core was an evolved approach to the production of content, one that put the fan at the center of the sports universe. Fans of women’s sports want to know their athletes. They want to know them as players and people, as mothers and entrepreneurs. They want to feel a part of their journey, their successes and their heartaches.
We believe the properties, media organizations, and brands who recognize the depth of these fan desires, and give them what they want through long form content, direct to athlete channels, and omni-platform experiences will ultimately win a very big piece of a very big pie.
It won’t be easy. But we believe in this approach so deeply that we’re putting our money where our research is.
Introducing our Title IX Content Creators Grant Recipients
We’ve identified four grassroots creators who represent the future of women’s sports content, and we’re offering them a grant of $1,972 and a seat in Facebook X BAYCAT’S Masterclass program to allow them to continue to evolve and produce their outstanding content.
Each creator brings an honest, fresh approach to sports coverage, utilizing channels and formats Fluid Fans prefer, and a relatable perspective that more accurately reflects today’s continuously evolving fan.
