2018 Year In Sports-Tech

2018 was an explosive year in sports-tech, and an incredible year at Sports Innovation Lab. We continued to track all the innovations and changes throughout the industry with our software, and amidst all the activity we monitored, one thing was abundantly clear—the sports-tech sector is in a period of sustained growth.

Our software processed over 33,000 sports-technology specific signals from 2018 alone, all indexed to nearly 4,000 companies. That’s a lot of information!
